Located in the center of Hanover, the scope of this project consisted of complete renovations to the existing library along with the construction of a 20,000 square foot addition, three stories above grade, one story below grade, structural steel with masonry infill and elaborate cast stone details. Extensive waterproofing was done due to the amount of ground water on site. Also included were renovations and restorations to the interior and exterior of the existing building, the installation of a new sound system and a rear projection system was required to handle DVD and computer-generated presentations.
