  • Cumberland County Department of Public Safety

    • Carlisle, PA
  • This project involved construction of a 21,336 SF public safety building and a 2,897 SF maintenance garage.  These buildings will serve as the Cumberland County 911 call center and the County emergency operations center.  Exterior building finishes included split face masonry, brick veneer, flush metal wall panels, architecturally exposed structural steel, glazed aluminum window systems and sunshades.  Interior finishes included painted walls, acoustical ceilings, linear metal ceilings, raised access flooring, ceramic and porcelain tile, resinous flooring, carpet and vinyl floor tile.
  • Joint Bio-Medical Research, Fort Detrick

    • Frederick, MD
  • Ft. Detrick Joint Bio-Medical is a 22,000 sf structure with LEED Certification Pending. It was built for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. Primary construction included the administrative facility, UPS system, fire sprinkler system, storm water regional pond, site utility relocations, loading dock, special foundations and building information systems. The building includes an open 3-story inner hallway, admitting natural light to inside offices.
  • Lower Allen Township Emergency and Municipal Service Center

    • Camp Hill, PA
  • Located in Camp Hill, this project consisted of a new 47,000 square foot center that will house the Fire, EMS, Police and Township Offices. The project involved extensive site remediation to remove unsuitable soils, building demolition and site construction. The new building will be constructed on 10.6 acres which consisted of 8 separate parcels of property that are bounded by Carlisle and Gettysburg Roads, Pennsylvania Avenue and the Norfolk Southern Railroad. In 1736 the property was the site of the first permanent settlement on the West Shore. The building will have a combination of materials and designs to evoke the historical buildings that were once typical in Lower Allen Township. The $6.7 million dollar project was completed in March of 2008.
  • Swatara Fire Station

    • Oberlin, PA
  • Located in Harrisburg, this project consisted of complete interior renovations and an addition to the existing fire station. Renovations included a bunk room, fitness room, lounge and administrative offices. The 7,000 square foot addition included a new single-story masonry bearing building comprised of a dispatch room, locker room, a dry room, a 3-story training stair tower and five truck bays.
  • Windsor Township Public Works Facility

    • York, PA
  • Construction included a new 28,340 SF pre-engineered metal building structure for the Public Works Facility and a 7,680 SF wood framed Salt Storage Building. The Public Works Facility features include indoor parking for up to 22 township vehicles, 2 bays for vehicle repair with an overhead engine crane, wash bay area, offices, storage rooms, a storage mezzanine, restrooms and locker rooms. Architectural features included split faced masonry walls, metal wall panels, standing seam metal roofing, aluminum framed windows and entrances, sectional overhead doors, ceramic tile walls & floors in locker rooms and restrooms, and VCT flooring and acoustical ceilings in the administration area.
